SA Dec PPI 0.7% y/y (exp +0.1%) (2)

South Africa’s producer price index (PPI) registered growth of +0.7% year-on-year (y/y) in December from -1.2% y/y in November, Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) data on Thursday showed.
PPI was also shown to have risen 0.1% in 2009 from the 14.2% of 2008.
