As a UK resident I am horrified not by crime etc but the prices…Football is followed by people with little money in the main…We a group of Doctors in the were planning to come out for 3 weeks but it is far to expensive for us let alone others . I do smile when SA worries about holligans…they will not be there ..priced way out so some advantage…cheaper to buy a plasma screen and watch it at home.

Air flights are difficult to get and very pricey…The airlines SAA Virgan and BA should have trebled the number of flights and halved the fare across the board.

Accommadation is very expensive and you get the feeling that the general thought is foriegn tourists are loaded.
The recession is massive in Europe….This World cup for 2 weeks is three times more expensive than when we went to the German one for 4 weeks
