ANALYSIS: Decline in liquidations growth in August

Johannesburg, Sept 28 (I-Net Bridge) - Liquidations improved notably in August, declining by  7.4% y/y in the month, the lowest level since September last year.
On a m/m basis, liquidations declined from 428 in July to 264 in August.

SAA reports R398m profit after R1.085bn loss

      Johannesburg, Sept 28 (I-Net Bridge)   South Africa’s national air carrier South African Airways (SAA) reported a net profit of 398 million rand for the year ended March 2009 against a net loss after restructuring costs of 1.085-billion in the previous year.

RESULTS: Sea Kay

Johannesburg, Sep 28 (I-Net Bridge)   Low-cost home builder and civil engineering contractor Sea Kay Holdings (SKY) on Monday reported headline earnings per share of 6.57 cents for the year ended June 30, versus 18.12 cents previously, representing a 63% decline.
